क्या है SIM Swap Fraud -

आप सभी को पता है की हमारे बैंक अकाउंट मे हमारा मोबाइल नंबर लिंक होता है जिससे हम अपने transaction करते है, जब भी हम transaction करते है तब हमारे मोबाइल पर otp आता है। जिससे बैंक confirm करती है की ट्रैंज़ैक्शन आप ही कर रहे हो। अब scammers यहा पर इसी otp को लेने के लिए अलग अलग तरीको का उपयोग करते है जिससे आप उन्हे otp बता दो। जिससे बो आपकी सिम का clone बना ले, जैसे ही बो इस काम मे सफल हो जाते है तो उसके बाद आपके अकाउंट पर उनका कंट्रोल हो जाता है।

साइबर अपराधी यूजर के documents का इस्तेमाल करके टेलीकॉम कंपनी से एक ही नंबर का डुप्लीकेट सिम कार्ड जारी करवाकर इस घटना को अंजाम देते हैं। सिम स्वैप की वजह से यूजर के बैंक अकाउंट, क्रेडिट कार्ड आदि का कंट्रोल साइबर अपराधी के हाथ में चला जाता है। किसी यूजर का सिम स्वैप करने के लिए scammers टेलीकॉम ऑपरेटर बताकर उनसे संपर्क करते हैं।

यूजर से नेटवर्क में आ रही दिक्कत ठीक करने  के लिए कहते हैं। जो यूजर इन साइबर अपराधियों के जाल में फंस जाते हैं, वो स्कैमर्स को अपना डॉक्यूमेंट दे देते हैं। जिसके बाद साइबर अपराधी सिम स्वैप फ्रॉड की घटना को अंजाम देते हैं।

Nowadays all users' bank accounts are linked to Aadhaar card and mobile number, due to which users can easily do online transactions. For this, the user has to enter OTP i.e. One Time Password to do the transaction. Through SIM Swap technique, cyber criminals change the SIM card of the user and ask for OTP on their device and execute the fraud.

Cyber criminals execute this incident by getting the telecom company to issue a duplicate SIM card of the same number using the user's documents. Due to SIM swap, the control of the user's bank account, credit card etc. goes into the hands of cyber criminals. To swap the SIM of a user, scammers contact them by telling them as telecom operators.

The user is asked to get a problem in the network, or to get a new SIM for 5G or a new SIM issue in the name of MNP. The users who fall in the trap of these cyber criminals, give their documents to the scammers. After which cyber criminals execute the incident of SIM swap fraud.

कैसे बचें SIM Swap Fraud से -

जैसे ही, फ्रॉड नया सिम कार्ड एक्टिवेट करेंगे आपका सिम कार्ड डिएक्टिवेट हो जाता है। ऐसे में तुरंत टेलीकॉम ऑपरेटर से संपर्क करना चाहिए।

1SIM Swap फ्रॉड से बचने के लिए अपने डॉक्यूमेंट्स किसी के साथ शेयर नहीं करना चाहिए।
किसी भी तरह के फर्जी कॉल को इग्नोर करना चाहिए। अगर, किसी टेलीकॉम ऑपरेटर्स के नेटवर्क में दिक्कत है तो 198 पर कॉल करके कस्टमर केयर पर इसकी शिकायत करनी चाहिए।

कई बार साइबर क्रिमिनल्स जान-बूझकर आपको बार-बार कॉल करेंगे ताकि आप अपना नंबर स्विच ऑफ कर लें। साइबर अपराधी या जालसाज इसी के इंतजार में रहते हैं, ताकि पुराना नंबर ऑफ होने पर नया नंबर एक्टिवेट किया जा सके। ऐसे में बार-बार कॉल आने पर फोन स्विच ऑफ करने से बचें।

साइबर फ्रॉड होने पर आप https://cybercrime.gov.in पर अपनी शिकायत दर्ज करा सकते हैं।

To avoid 1SIM Swap fraud, do not share your documents with anyone.

Any kind of fake calls should be ignored. If there is a problem with the network of any telecom operators, then by calling 198, a complaint should be made to the customer care.

As soon as the fraudster activates the new SIM card, your SIM card gets deactivated. In this case, the telecom operator should be contacted immediately.

Many times cyber criminals will deliberately call you repeatedly so that you switch off your number.

 Cyber criminals or fraudsters wait for this, so that the new number can be activated when the old number is off. In such a situation, avoid switching off the phone on repeated calls.
